Our balance training program is designed to emphasize safety and fall prevention.
Our physical therapist can develop specific injury prevention programs for athletes, workers, new moms, or anyone beginning a new activity or sport.
Ergonomics/Body Mechanics Assessment and Training
If you have pain from a common, everyday activity, we can perform an assessment of the tasks in your normal routine to determine any changes that could be made to lessen your discomfort and perhaps improve your performance. For example, we can provide evaluation and education about the set up of your computer workstation, or we can evaluate your golf swing mechanics; whatever activity it is that needs attention to decrease your pain. By helping you improve your posture, we can help you improve your quality of life and help you have a better day!
We have the availability to use:
- heat and cold
- ice/compression therapy
- many forms of electrical stimulation, including iontophoresis, interferential and Russian
Fitness Program Development
If you have or are at risk for high blood pressure, heart disease or diabetes, we can help you improve your overall level of fitness by teaching you the appropriate exercises without having to "go to a gym."
Osteoporosis Education and Exercise
Learn how to eat better, maneuver more "safely" and exercise in our complete osteoporosis program: a good fit if you are older and dealing with diminished bone density.
