Ann Dennison, PT, DPT, OCS, LAT, ATC
Ann is a very active member of both the American and Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Associations. Her other professional affiliations include the American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists and the National Athletic Trainer's Association. She has volunteered her services locally, nationally and internationally, working with such organizations as the United States Olympic Committee, the Appalachian Wheelchair Athletic Association, Momentum International, and the Amputee Support Team of Central Pennsylvania.
Jennifer Buono, PT, DPT
Jen Buono has been practicing physical therapy since 2001. She earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from the University of Kentucky in 2012 and has a Master's Degree in Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland, Baltimore. She has experience treating patients with neurological disorders, such as strokes, traumatic brain injuries and Parkinson's disease, in both the inpatient and outpatient setting. Most recently Jen has been working in the outpatient setting treating a wide variety of patients with ailments ranging from balance and vestibular disorders to orthopedic conditions, joint replacements and spinal ailments. She has completed additional training in vestibular rehabilitation, and is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association. In addition to the above experience, Jen is also a certified Pilates Instructor and enjoys incorporating Pilates principles and exercises into her rehabilitation practice.
Outside the clinic Jen enjoys spending time with her husband, daughter and son. Her many interests include spending time outside, reading, running and of course Pilates.
Paula Hoffmann, PT
Paula Hoffmann, PT joined the staff at Advanced Physical Therapy and Fitness in the spring of 2016. Paula earned Bachelor's and Master's degrees from East Stroudsburg University in Exercise Physiology and Clinical Exercise Physiology respectively. Following completion of her degrees, she moved to the eastern shore of Maryland and worked in cardiac and pulmonary rehabilitation for 10 years. She then returned to school to obtain a Master's of Physical Therapy from the University of Maryland Eastern Shore. Paula moved back to PA to take a position in an inpatient rehabilitation faciltiy working with patients following strokes and other head injuries. Paula also has experience working with geriatric patients in a skilled nursing facility and home health setting, as well as treating individuals following trauma and neurological injuries at a large hospital system. Most recently Paula was working in an outpatient physical therapy clinic as a staff physical therapist and clinic manager. Paula has a broad range of experience with orthopedic conditions, joint replacements, spinal ailments and vestibular disorders in addition to the above experiences.
Paula spends much of her free time outside: hiking, kayaking and biking with family and friends. She also enjoys the company of her Newfoundland and chocolate lab dogs.
Stephany Primrose, PT
Stephany is a native of western Maryland but now lives in Carlisle with her husband and sons. In her free time she enjoys spending time with her family, travelling, skiing and reading.
Kristen Pagano provides the reception and billing for Advanced Physical Therapy and Fitness. She enjoys providing a welcoming atmosphere to all of our patients and is happy to assist with your insurance questions. Outside the office, Kristen's interests include reading, and numerous physical activities from yoga to hiking and running.
Emma Bankert is our evening receptionist and a student at Penn State Harrisburg. She’s majoring in Sociology and hopes to apply her degree towards teaching. She has lived in Mechanicsburg her entire life and enjoys the small town. Outside of classes she is a volunteer music instructor with the Mechanicsburg Area Senior High School drumline, and she has her own small crafting business on Etsy.
